Palms Place Las Vegas
A corner suite with views of the Las Vegas Strip can be pretty entertaining in its own right, something that I embraced during my recent stay at the Palms Place Hotel and Spa. Understanding that my visit to Sin City was going to be brief this time, I opted for a 1200 square foot room purely for the novelty of having more space than I'd know what to do with.

Complete with a kitchen, fireplace, two bathrooms, three televisions, and corner views that stretched from the mountains to the Strip, this was an easy place to feel like a king for a day. The real highlight, especially after a full day spent travel shooting in the desert, was the jetted soaker tub which I took full advantage of that evening with a beer in hand.
Having explored Las Vegas extensively over the last few years, half of the fun now has become about where I'm going to stay. Palms Place provided a nice twist by being just far enough away from the Strip that you could really enjoy the view by looking back at it. With so many high-end hotels to choose from, and some pretty wild rooms available, there's really no place quite like Las Vegas to play a bit of make-believe.
