In Search Of An Ending: Monarch Documentary

A full page write-up appeared in today's Calgary Herald about the story surrounding my upcoming documentary on the Monarch Theatre in Medicine Hat titled "Your Cinema Needs You".

My thanks to Eric Volmers and the Calgary Herald for this generous feature, particularly as the documentary still has a few final hurdles to overcome towards completion. Everything is still pretty hush hush surrounding what might happen at the Monarch, but there's potential I may still get the ending I've been holding out for before this documentary truly wraps.

Offering incredible views of downtown Calgary, Alberta, Sky 360 is the revolving restaurant located at the top of the Calgary Tower. With the restaurant taking 60 minutes to complete one rotation, we made a sunset reservation and marked the occasion by sharing a bottle of sparking wine, the grilled house foccacia, sky burger, and butterscotch crème brulée.

Heritage Hall at SAIT in Calgary, Alberta

Built between 1921 to 1922, Heritage Hall at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta is a prime example of Collegiate Gothic architecture and the province's early development and expansion in post-secondary education. Originally known as the Provincial Institute of Technology Building, the school was established to help retrain World War I veterans and provide specialized technical training for Alberta's growing industries. Today, Heritage Hall is the central structure on the SAIT campus and a National Historic Site of Canada.
