Frank Lloyd Wright's Allen House in Kansas
Completed in 1918, Frank Lloyd Wright's Allen House (also known as the Allen-Lambe House) is an architectural landmark located in Wichita, Kansas. The home was commissioned by Henry Justin Allen, a newspaper publisher and later the 21st Governor of Kansas, and his wife, Elsie. Noted for its clean lines and earth tones, Allen House was one of Frank Lloyd Wright's last prairie style homes and was the only residence he designed in Kansas.
