A Weekend in Edmonton, Alberta
This weekend I was up in Edmonton, Alberta for some quick travel shoots and birthday celebrations. I've gotten pretty good at mixing business and pleasure, and this whirlwind trip was no exception. From a stay at Hotel Macdonald downtown to exploring the new Ice District to a quick refresh at the West Edmonton Mall, there should be even more great additions to the Around Alberta series ahead. Selena Memorial in Corpus Christi, Texas
The life of pop star Selena was tragically cut short on March 31, 1995 when she was shot and killed in Corpus Christi, Texas. A memorial to Selena now stands on the waterfront where fans have written their names and messages on the bricks surrounding the statue.
