JFK Memorial Plaza in Dallas, Texas
Designed by architect Philip Johnson, the John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza was dedicated in Dallas, Texas on June 24, 1970. The memorial reflects the lasting impact of JFK's assassination in Dallas on November 22, 1963 and is located just a few hundred yards from where he was killed.
