Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada

There's nothing quite like the aesthetic of a room chock-full with vintage, glowing pinball machines. With a handful of quarters in one hand and a camera in the other, I made the most of my brief visit to the Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Illinois State Capitol in Springfield

Located in Springfield, Illinois, this is the 6th building to serve as the capitol since Illinois became a state in 1818. Construction began in 1868, although it would take 20 years for the building to be completed. On a growing list of capitols visited around the United States, I didn't want to pass up the chance to at least walk up these steps while in Springfield.
