Lights on the British Columbia Parliament Buildings
Victoria's inner harbour is undeniably beautiful, and in the evening when the lights of the British Columbia Parliament Buildings are turned on the harbour is like a scene out of a classic movie. With the lights reflecting off of the water and people casually strolling to take in the downtown views, this is a glimpse of Victoria, British Columbia at its best.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art | LACMA
Boasting over 150,000 works of art from ancient times to the present, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is the largest art museum in the western United States. Located along Wilshire Boulevard, neighboring the La Brea Tar Pits and just across the street from the Wall Along Wishire, LACMA is perhaps most easily recognized by Chris Burden's extremely popular Urban Light exhibit at its entrance.
Exploring an art museum of this scope and scale offers something for absolutely everyone. From ancient Egyptian artifacts to classic works by Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Pollock, Warhol, and on and on and on, it's not just the art that's amazing, but the spaces in which they're on display as well. In addition to the changing exhibitions, I've discovered something new each time I've been back. As the latest addition to the Roadside California series, here's the first installment of my visual exploration of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in Los Angeles, California.
