Medicine Hat Regional Event Centre Construction
Over the summer I worked with the City of Medicine Hat to produce several videos for the fundraising campaign of the new Medicine Hat Regional Event Centre (now the Canalta Centre). The project required me to tour the construction site and document some of the progress that had been made, giving me a rare opportunity to photograph this building as it was just taking shape. Here are a few of the pictures of what the facility looked like in August 2014.

Postcards at the Peacock's Feather
With new framed prints of my Medicine Hat photography for sale at the Peacock's Feather on North Railway Street, I decided it would be cool to add even more variety just in time for Christmas. I've brought back a select collection of just over 250 of my original Around the Hat postcards exclusively for sale in the Peacock's Feather.
These 4x6" postcards were professionally printed, and have now been individually sleeved and labelled with their specific locations from Around the Hat. If you're looking for something easy to frame or an original piece of stationery to send a message, these postcards are a great option. They're just one more piece of originality that you'll find inside this amazing local shop.

Driving the Icefields Parkway: Part 1
From Big Sur to the Columbia River Gorge, I've enjoyed some pretty scenic drives in the last few years. The Icefields Parkway, stretching between Banff National Park and Jasper National Park, was without doubt another epic addition to that list. Stunning views of Alberta's Rocky Mountains, distant glaciers, and even a few bears sightings made for a memorable day.
Other stop offs along the Icefields Parkway included Athabasca Falls, Columbia Icefield, Sunwapta Falls, and the brand new Glacier Skywalk. It's a popular drive, but there are lots of places along the road to pull over, enjoy the views, and find a piece of the scenery for yourself.
