I ended up spending several hours hiking and snapping pictures on Whistlers Mountain (naturally I had to do some substantial editing to narrow my shots down once I got home). I also came across a few marmots, snapped a few profile pics (as you do), and continued to marvel at the scenery from the countless vantage points along my trek. In contrast to the Banff Gondola, which I road just a couple days prior, I loved how once you reached the top of the Jasper SkyTram you just walked right out onto the mountain. Nothing was fenced off or too manufactured, and because there were numerous trails to choose from, once you got a little ways up the mountain it was like having the location all to yourself. It was the perfect place to collect my thoughts. I loved every minute of it.
