Grain Elevator in Dorothy, Alberta

If you've ever driven the river valley from Drumheller towards East Coulee, than you've no doubt seen this abandoned wooden grain elevator next to the road in the ghost town of Dorothy, Alberta. The stark presence of the lone elevator next to the road, along with its obvious decay, is a photographer's playground.

I explored the abandoned structure up close, and couldn't help but be captivated by all of the textures in the weathered wood and fading paint. These icons of the prairies are becoming a bit rarer each year, and that's a big part of why I've recently become so inspired to capture them

Construction of the Regional Event Centre

This last month I've been busy working on a new video surrounding the construction of Medicine Hat's brand new Regional Event Centre. A couple of weeks ago I toured the site with the mayor to shoot some footage for the project, during which time I captured these images of the construction site. The event centre is really starting to take shape. This is going to be an amazing facility for the city, and I can't wait to see the acts that the new event centre brings to Medicine Hat, Alberta when it opens next year.

Here's a little teaser of the work in progress. Stay tuned.
