Drinking Blue Milk in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Part of the fun of exploring Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida is trying the unique food on offer like the iconic blue milk made famous from its appearance in Star Wars: A New Hope. The milk stand in Batuu offers both the blue and green alien milk beverage fresh from Bubo Wamba Family Farms.

What's interesting to note about these drinks is that they're both frozen, smoothie-like beverages, and that neither one is actually milk based. The blue flavor tastes of dragon fruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon whereas the green flavor tastes of mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom. Both drinks are available at the Milk Stand in Galaxy's Edge.

Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities in Galaxy's Edge

Located within Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities is a gift shop that specializes in the galaxy's "rarest treasures".

In addition to the amazing collections to view on the walls, it's here at Dok-Ondar's that visitors can purchase both pre-built lightsabers from the Star Wars universe and select kyber crystals - the souvenir crystal which changes the color of your lightsaber blade when installed.

Orange World in Orlando, Florida

One does not go to Orlando, Florida and not pick up kitschy souvenirs. From Orange World to the Wizard Head to a handful of pawn shop / flea markets, our journey away from the theme parks produced some of the best, most unexpected finds of the trip.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World I added quite a few vintage Mickey's to my collection for some upcoming shoots, I tried a few citrus souvenirs at Orange World, and I found the classiest salt & pepper shaker that Orlando had to offer hidden away on a back shelf at one of the flea markets.
