Fort Columbia on the Washington Coast

In addition to the impressive coastal defense batteries on site, Fort Columbia in Washington is also home to a number of historic wood-framed structures. Among these beautiful buildings are the Fort Columbia Officer's Quarters, Administration Building, and Barracks.

Strategically located at the top of a hill near the mouth of the Columbia River, the views surrounding Fort Columbia are pretty spectacular. Several of the historic homes at the site are also now available as vacation rentals. If you happen to be in the Pacific Northwest, Fort Columbia is a beautiful spot to explore on the Washington coast.
