Movie Cars at Heritage Park: Part 1

The Cars of the Big & Small Screen is a limited-time exhibit at Heritage Park in Calgary, Alberta. It's part of their 50th anniversary celebrations and runs until April 21, 2014. With automobiles like the DeLorean from Back to the Future, the Ferrari from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and the General Lee from the Duke's of Hazzard, there's lots to explore for car enthusiasts and movie buffs alike.

Other cars on display include: The Flintstone's car, Herbie "the Love Bug", Gran Torino from Starsky and Hutch, Mustang GT 390 from Bullitt, Magnum P.I.'s Ferrari 308 GTS, and James Bond's Aston Martin "Vanish".

Here are some of my pictures from the exhibit inside Gasoline Alley - and be sure to check out my specific photo sets of the DeLorean, Ferrari, and General Lee too.

Calgary International Auto Show 2014

Returning to the Calgary Auto Show this year was a lot of fun. From checking out the new lineup at Jaguar to comparing the latest supercars, there was no shortage of stunning automobiles to focus on. I loved being in able to get up close and actually sit in a lot of the vehicles to get a feel for them. I was curious about the new Chrysler 300 to compare it to mine, and similarly we did this with almost all of the cars that we were familiar with or had an interest in. The Calgary Auto Show is one of the largest automotive exhibitions in Western Canada, and if you have a chance to go in the future it really is worth your time. It made for a great afternoon - we had a blast!
