For my 400th post I thought it would be fun to share a few more numbers - my total hits to be precise. Of the few times I've mentioned this before, I'm still always surprised when I look back and realize just how much has actually changed - this one recap is from February 27, 2008.
Sometimes blogging feels like a stand still, but these little milestones, the personal achievements we often keep to ourselves, are really reminders that we're not shaping our online experience alone (even though it does take a lot of personal drive to keep it going). For that, I'm thankful to all of you who have helped my stats grow and improve with each passing year - and more specifically today - with each passing post.
For the first time ever, here's a look at my traffic stats since my blog began on May 31, 2007.

Congratulations on growing your blog so successfully. 400 posts is a huge success, and those are very healthy growth numbers!
Do you have any idea why your traffic leapt up so much in April and May 09?

The peak in April and May '09 is due in large part to an online film competition I had a movie in. There were weekly voting rounds and I was voted through 5 of them. The popularity of the video translated into more hits to my site.
