1000ec Contest Results

I want to thank everyone who participated in my first ever Entrecard contest, and my first contest of any kind, period. I'll definetly do something like this again, and try to find new and fun ways to get your creative input. It's a lot more fun than just a contest based on linking (to me anyway).

This 1st contest was based on coming up with a single sentence review, tagline or response to my short film Day Dream Day. The winners were chosen based on the creativity and quality of their sentence in relation to what the theme of my film was. And, without further delay, the winners are:

1st Place: 500ec
Steve from Kindlelicious for 'In dreams, the future is limitless.'

2nd Place: 300ec
Ann from My Life in Italy for 'Ponderings from on top of the world.'

3rd Place: 200ec
Jigsaw from Jigsaw's Lair for 'The Urban Dreamer.'

Thanks again for all your entries. Look for Steve's tagline, along with my own 'Everyone has a thinking place' on the brand new poster for Day Dream Day coming very soon! Until next time, happy blogging!

Entrecard sucks. Only losers that have a finger itch would spend all day clicking for some fool to click your site! Try reading for a change!

EuroYank, I think the point is that we're all searching for more ways to get people to read our sites. If entrecard isn't your thing that's fine, but with only 10 minutes of effort a day, I've seen a good surge of people visiting me and leaving comments. From my stand point, if my site can be grouped with other people interested in the same things, that's free promotion for my writing and videos. I guess it depends on what your motivation for doing it is.
