It's my birthday today, and I have to admit that I'm starting to get to the age where the numbers aren't really as dramatic as they used to be. 16, 18, 21, whatever, being 24 isn't really a milestone - unless I make it one, hmmm. I guess when I'm 25 I'll be able to rent a car, woohoo! I don't really need an excuse to celebrate though. It's a new year to make some new movies, have some new adventures, and jump further into the unknown. Another year closer to my goals perhaps?
This picture of me was originally known as the grandpa or grumpy picture. As I've gotten older though, and it became more apparent that I wanted to make movies for a living, I like to think of it more as the baby director picture. I've got the cool little chair, the awesome hat, some sweet velcro shoes, and an expression that says, "we're gonna have to do another take". Happy Birthday to me!
