It's Oscar Day!
It's the day of the 80th annual Academy Awards and as usual I've got all the nominees in check. Since high school I've made a habit of seeing as many of the nominated films as possible and then making my own predictions as to what I thought the best films/actors/actresses/etc. were. I figure if your going to make movies for a living, why not get a sense of what some consider to be the best of the best?
Anyway, I plan on sharing more of my thoughts, predictions and reactions post-Oscar ceremony. Until then, checkout some of the Oscar highlights from the past.

Yay! Nothing pumps up the blood like Oscar Fever! Unfortunately, the Red Carpet arrivals air during the middle of the day here (2pm in South Africa) when I am at work :(
