New: Not My Videos

What is Youtube really good for, if not for finding ridiculous time-wasting videos that you feel compelled to share when they make you laugh over and over again. Cheap laughs, and a cheap post i admit, but hopefully these few clips bring a smile to your day . . . and what could be more valuable than that? (*awkward silence) well, i tried.

This is what the film 300 teaches us . . .

Dramatic Chipmunk (actually a prairie dog)

Don Hertzfeldt's award winning 'Rejected' is a hilarious and irreverant short film worth checking out if you haven't seen it before (the video is 9min long so you may have to be patient). But if anything, you'll have to check out the first scene to understand the next video.

Tyler, more popularily known as Doc from the brilliant Buick to the Future films (haha, couldn't resist, ps. check out My Buick Videos to see Buick to the Future if you haven't yet) made this as a personal intro for our end of the year film screening. I had no idea he intended to mock me in the process, but i give him credit because this is one of my favorite things he's done. The scene is based on Hertzfeldt's Rejected, Tyler's is titled Projected . . . for the record 'Fandrix Productions' is my production company, and no, look at my pic posted on this blog, i'm not that fat! But, i do like my red hat.

I was thinking of buying Tyler a DVD of that "Rejected" guy's work for his next birthday. I imagine the animator could use the money.
